When adding an Autonomic amp to OvrC, it's important to note which serial number format that amp has. If the amp has an ST format serial number listed on the config Amplifier tab of the amp’s configuration page (http://ipOfAmp/config) or on the sticker on the rear of the unit, use that serial number. If there is no ST format serial number listed on the config page and the serial number sticker on the rear has another format, some additional steps must be taken to add that amp to OvrC.
Amps with without an ST format serial number will have a serial number that looks like 7C3P00508. These amps will not list that full serial number on the config page. However, they do will list their Amp ID in both decimal and hexadecimal. In our example, the amp has a decimal Amp ID of 508 and a hexadecimal Amp ID of 01FC. Alternatively, take the serial number listed on the back of the amp, remove the first four characters (7C3P, in our example), and remove any leading 0s from what remains. Use the decimal Amp ID in place of a serial number when adding that amp to OvrC. Our example amp would require 508.
