Hardware/Software Requirements

  1. The NAS network path

  2. NAS Credentials

For the most stable connection, limit your shared folder to SMBv1

Instructions

First, Open the MMS configuration page by navigating to setup.tunebridge.com and selecting ‘config’ or by navigating to the the MMS' IP address/config (http://SERVER-IP/Config)  --Replace SERVER-IP with your servers IP address

Once the config page loads up, select the "Content" tab and scroll down to the “Network Storage” box.

Select “Add Network Drive” and enter the Network Path of the folder. Generally this is the IP address or Hostname of the NAS drive or computer hosting the folder followed by the path to the folder. Each commercially available NAS drive is different, however they will generally show you a shared folder’s full network path in the folder properties or mapped drive information. In Windows, right click on the shared folder. Select “Properties” and “Sharing” to find the network path.

After you have entered the network path, add credentials if any and click the green “Add” button.

The network path for each network drive added to the MMS will show up in the “Network Storage” box below the “Add Network Drive” button. You can click the edit button (pencil icon) to change the credentials if they change, and the delete button (trash can icon) to sever the connection between the shared folder and the MMS.

The server will need to index every track before any content will populate under local content. This can take several hours depending on the number of tracks in the library.
