TIDAL is discontinuing the ability to access their service with just a username and password. Instead, accessing TIDAL must be done through the more secure OAuth method. This article will assist in converting the existing username/password login to an OAuth login.
If an account has to be converted, the TIDAL menu will raise a message. On some control clients, the user will be automatically directed to the new login workflow.
Upon browsing TIDAL, a menu item like this will be presented:
Click the menu item for reauthentication. Depending on the control client, a message directing the user to http://<ipOfServer>/TidalStart will appear OR the application will open the appropriate login screen on behalf of the user.
After logging in, return to the TIDAL menu. The account is now authorized.
