Advanced Music Bridge Global Mode

The Advanced Music Bridge (AMB-1) can support two simultaneous streams of Apple Music to one or multiple eSeries MMS systems on the same or separate system IDs.

MMS / AMB with the Same System ID

If multiple eSeries MMS units are on the same system ID, the AMB will also be set to the same system ID and instructions on the Advanced Music Bridge Quick Start Guide apply.

Two streams of Apple Music would be available to any of the player outputs of the MMSs on the system.

MMS / AMB with Different System IDs

If multiple eSeries MMS units are on separate system IDs we recommend a dedicated AMB per system ID for optimal performance and to avoid potential disruption in playback.

There is an option to switch the AMB-1 into “Global Mode” to allow the AMB to become available to all MMSs on different system IDs. This can be accessed after the AMB has been added to one of the MMSs configuration page.

Go to the edit button in the AMB Additional Device row to access the AMB configuration and turn on global mode.

Once the setting is turned on, the two AMB-1 Apple Music streams would be available to all MMS units on different system IDs.
