Accessing unsupported streaming services in Savant

Pre-requisites

• Any eSeries MMS (MMS-1e, MMS-3e, MMS-5e)

• MMS-OS FW 6.4 or later

• MMS configured in Savant system

Enabling Savant All Services mode

1. Open telnet on port 23 to the MMS and send SetSavantAllServiceMode true

2. The setting value can be verified by sending SetSavantAllServiceMode without any arguments

3. If there are multiple MMSs in the system with Savant, each MMS needs to be set individually

Browsing Services on Savant

1. When selecting a service on a Savant panel instead of showing the list of that service we force a list of all services.

   Note that the service for the button needs to be enabled on the MMS. IE Pandora from our screenshots.

2. From here any service can be selected, even services Savant does not normally support.
