How to run Windows Sync tool automatically at startup in Windows 10/11

We are aware that the ‘Start At Login’ setting in the Windows Sync Tool version is not functioning and these steps will provide a workaround.

Navigate to your windows search bar

  1. Type in ‘run’ - hit enter

2. Type in ‘shell:startup’ and select ‘Ok’.

shell:startup

3. Right click in your window, navigate to ‘New’ and select ‘Shortcut’

4. You will then copy and paste the following ‘path’ into the ‘Type the location of the item’ and select ‘Next’ to continue.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Autonomic Controls\Media Synchronization Tool\bin\Autonomic.Synchronization.App.exe" -autorun

5. You will be prompted to create a ‘Name' for the shortcut, select Finish once done.

Following these steps will add the SyncTool app to run automatically at startup in Windows 10/11.
