MMS-5A not shutting down or rebooting correctly

If you experience a condition on an MMS-5A where the unit is not shutting down or rebooting correctly, There may be a small change required to the Bois settings. This only affects a few MMS-5As with the serial numbers in the following format :313-10-XXXXXXXXXX and 313-10-XXXXXXXXXX. If you are unsure please contact our support team at support@autonomic-controls.com and we will be happy to assist you further. If you believe you have a unit with this issue please follow the steps below. 

  1. This will required connecting a monitor and keyboard to the MMS-5A. Connect the monitor and Keyboard

  2. If the MMS-5A is on, hold the power button for 10 seconds still the unit shuts off.

  3. Turn on the MMS-5A with the Monitor and keyboard connected

  4. Once you see the Autonomic Logo appear,  press "Del" key.

  5. Upon accessing the BIOS menu, go to the "BOOT" tab and select "OS Selection".

  6. From there change the OS from "Windows" to "Android". 

  7. Go to the  "Advanced" tab, in the "USB Configuration" option. Confirm XHCI mode set to"Enabled". 

  8. Press F10 to save and reboot.
