How to Update E-series Amplifier Firmware (M-801e, M-401e, M-120e Amplifiers)

Use the following procedure to update the firmware on your Mirage Audio System amplifiers - M-801e, M-401e, M-120e.  Your settings will NOT be erased.  Please leave your amps fully attached and connected to the network.  

Requirement: A computer with a Telnet client installed. 

  1. Connect to the amplifier via telnet over port 17056.  

    1. telnet <amp ip> 17056

    2. For example, telnet 192.168.1.101 17056

  2. Run the appropriate update commands, pertaining to the model you are updating.

INSTALL_BUNDLE updates.autonomic-controls.com/amp/Autonomic_M801e_release.bun

INSTALL_BUNDLE updates.autonomic-controls.com/amp/Autonomic_M401e_release.bun

INSTALL_BUNDLE updates.autonomic-controls.com/amp/Autonomic_M120e_release.bun

DO NOT POWER DOWN THE AMPLIFIER DURING THE UPDATE.  

Reported progress should normally be displayed during the update process.  When complete, the amplifier should reboot and the telnet client will close automatically.

We recommend all amplifiers in a system to be running the same firmware.

 

NOTE:

When first accessing telnet ampIP 17056 sometimes you may need to hit ‘enter’ 5 or more times to initialize the session.
