Crestron App Smart Graphics Media Player navigation menu unresponsive or blank when iOS device goes to sleep

Crestron has corrected the Crestron App Media Player reconnect issue. It has been reported that this issue causes the navigation menu to become blank or unresponsive after the iOS device goes to sleep and wakes up again.
In order to implement this fix the following steps maybe required:

  • Update MMS to Firmware 5.2.19572.70 or greater.

  • Update the iOS Crestron app.

  • Remove the Media Player object from the VTPro file and re-add it.

  • Recompile and send updated GUI.

  • Refresh the Smart Graphic extenders in Crestron Simple.

  • If necessary reconnect signals between the Media Player Application symbol and the MediaServer Object Router (3.0)

  • {{Message_To_Media_Player}} and {{Message_From_Media_Player}} signals must be connected between the Media Player Application symbol and the MediaServer Object Router (3.0)

  • Recompile and send updated program
