If you are having a similar issue with an MMS-1e please see the following article: MMS-1e No Front Light, Will Not Boot

Symptoms:

  1. MMS will not show up on a network scan

  2. MMS will output a black screen through the HDMI port

  3. Front LED will not turn on

  4. Link light and activity light on ethernet port will be on and blinking

  5. Factory Reset will not take effect

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Unplug the MMS-3e from Power and Ethernet

  2. Unscrew the 3 screws on either side of the server and the screw on the back of the server

  3. Remove the case lid by sliding it backwards then lifting

  4. Remove and reseat the MicroSD Card

  5. Replace the Cover of the MMS-3e and test. If the problem persists, reseat the Micro SD card again.

  6. If the problem persists after the SD card has been reseated twice, please contact technical support here: Contact Support
