eSeries MMS Track Limits for Local Content

Applicable for eSeries streamers (MMS-1e, MMS-3e, MMS-5e) on version 6.4 and later firmware.

Version 6.4:

Supports up to 40,000 local tracks.

Synchronizing tracks from a computer using the Mirage Media Synchronization tool will reject a sync request where the new total track count is above the track limit.

Tracks copied locally to the MMS, on an added USB hard drive or on a NAS will be available on a first come first serve basis until the limit is reached. The MMS will not flag a track as unavailable unless the user deletes the file.

Version 7.0:

Supports up to 200,000 or more local tracks. No track limits are enforced.

OS 7.0 requires an Advanced Music Bridge (AMB-1), Advanced Music Bridge, and an eSeries MMS (Music Streamers - Autonomic )
