MMS-1e No Front Light, Will Not Boot

Symptoms:

  1. MMS will not show up on a network scan

  2. MMS will output a black screen through the HDMI port

  3. Front LED will not turn on

  4. Link light and activity light on ethernet port will be on and blinking

  5. Factory Reset will not take effect

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Unplug the MMS-1e from Power and Ethernet

  2. Turn the MMS-1e over on it’s back and remove the feet, revealing the 4 screws on the base of the server

  3. Unscrew the screws and remove the lid, being careful not to tug on the wifi antenna connected both to the main board and lid.

  4. Remove and Reseat the MicroSD Card

  5. Replace the Cover of the MMS-1e and test. If the problem persists, reseat the Micro SD card again.
