How to prevent Network Scanning

How to prevent Network Scanning

By default the MMS will scan the network for available network resources in order to enumerate music shares.  This may result in undesirable effects, such as repeated log entries on target machines which may refuse the browse requests.

In order to disable the behavior on the music server, a command is available on the MMS through telnet on port 23.

Command to enable network scanning: EnableNetworkScan True
Command to disable network scanning: EnableNetworkScan False
