Safe Reboot Procedure

Description

If you do have to reboot the server, it is very important that you do not remove power  or press and hold the power button. If you need to reboot the select from one of the three options listed below.

1. Tap the power button and wait about 45 seconds. Once the system has powered down, press that power button again.

2. On the Server Settings tab of the most recent firmware update (version 3.0.10792.0 and up), there is a Reboot button. Click it.

3. Open a telnet connection to port 23 at the server's IP address and send reboot.
