How to Sideload Tunebridge on Android

Getting Started

Tunebridge may not appear in the Play Store of phones running Android 13. While our development team is hard at work making sure the app is fully compatible with Android 13 and the requirements of the Play Store, you can still install the app by sideloading it.

Hardware/Software Requirements

  • eSeries MMS

  • Smartphone running the latest Android release

Instructions

Sideloading applications bypasses Google Play Protect, which scans downloaded apps for malware. Only sideload apps from trusted sources.

  1. Download the Tunebridge .apk file at the link below
    http://updates.autonomic-controls.com/clients/android/tunebridge/tunebridge-latest.apk

  2. Open the file after downloading. Normally you will see this option from the browser you downloaded from, however, you should also be able to find the file in the Downloads folder in your file manager

  3. After opening the file, you should be prompted to allow the file to “install unknown apps”. Follow the prompts, or navigate to “Settings > Security” / “Apps > Special app access” depending on the version of Android.

  4. Select “Install” when prompted, or if you are not prompted attempt to open the .apk file again after making the necessary settings changes.
